But, Freelancing is not as easy as it sounds. You give your sweat and blood to it too. Before making any decision, I advise you to give it proper research and proper thought. FACT #1: Freelancing gives you freedom:

Yes, that’s right! Freelancing gives you freedom, and you’re a master of your own. You do not report to any boss, and you directly connect with the client to fulfill his requirements. With that saying, You’re your boss, and only you’re responsible for your decisions. It would help if you were self-disciplined and sincere towards the job you receive from the client.

FACT#2: Freelancing is not just being online:

There are a lot of websites you find online like Upwork, Fiverr, Guru, freelancer, gig4u, freelancer, and many more. They are perfect when connecting with worldwide clients and freelancers online. You signup on these websites, complete your profile, and then? Yes, Do you have a plan for that? 

Honestly, it takes a lot of effort and skills to get work independently through online freelancing sites. There are a lot of skilled freelancers over there, and if you need work among them, you work like crazy in the beginning. You talk to the client to showcase your portfolio with skills and some practical jobs. You do market research and find a way to get started with the project. Yes, it is not that easy sometimes. 

But, when you’ve projects and you spend some time on them, you get started to understand the platforms and manage your life accordingly. With time, you also get professional and thrive in the freelance job.

If you’re not self-motivated and self-learner, Freelancing is not your piece of cake. Yes, 100% Right.

When you’re doing a 9-to-5 job, employees or colleagues are working with you, and you can ask them for help if you are stuck anywhere in your project. In Freelancing, You’re the only one who needs to solve every simple to critical issue yourself. You can not seek for a person to help you. Online, you’ve one GURU only, and that is “Google”. You find all the helpful resources to learn if you’re stuck, like articles, videos, or other helpful resources.

FACT #4: Update Skills:

If you’re a freelancer, you can not be successful if you do not improve or update your skills to stay updated with the market and latest trends. You learn regularly and update yourself. 

FACT #5: Time is Money:

When you’re freelancing online, there may be some places where you get distracted or disappointed. If you’re planning to freelance, Understand and follow the old saying, “TIME IS MONEY”. While working online, you need to set your own rules and manage the time to finish the projects on deadline.
